JEE Main 2021 Dates:
Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced the dates of JEE Main 2021 today, December 16, 2020. The Engineering entrance will be conducted from February 23 to 26. Also, in a first, JEE Mains will be held four times from the next academic year- February, March, April and May.
JEE Main to be held four times
NTA will hold JEE Main 2021 four times, in February, March, April and May. Multiple sessions of JEE Main will ensure that students can sit in the exams despite board exams and fears of COVID-19.
First session of JEE Main 2021 from February 23
JEE Main 2021 first session will be held from February 23 to 26. Multiple sessions will help students to improve on their mistakes, the minister said.
JEE Main 2021 question pattern: 90 questions
JEE Main 2020 paper will have 90 questions which includes 15 optional questions. These 15 questions will not have any negative marks. In total, candidates will have to answer 75 questoins.
In a first, JEE Main 2021 will be held in 13 languages -- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
